Feast of Sharing

 

Over the past nine years, Safeway, Inc. and the Walter E. Washington Convention Center have sponsored the Feast of Sharing. This event, which takes place annually around Thanksgiving, ensures that more than 40,000 District residents get an extra special Thanksgiving with a hot holiday meal and an opportunity to participate in a community services and job fair, workshops, including interviewing tips, resume writing and how to dress for success. The event also includes health screenings with free flu vaccinations from the DC Immunization Program.
