The Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show
The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show is the premiere consumer event in the nation for cooking and entertaining enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. It originated at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in 2005 and since has expanded to four new locations. The flagship event in Washington, DC features more than 250 exhibitors, live cooking demonstrations by nationally renowned chefs, tasting and entertaining workshops, plus presentations from Food Network celebrities. The 2008 show attracted more than 18,000 attendees and continues to grow each year.
