      The Washington Convention Center Authority (WCCA) wishes to engage the services of a design builder, either a single firm or joint venture (the “Design Builder” or “DB”) to renovate approximately forty-five thousand (45,000) square feet of existing interior public space in the Washington Convention Center (“Center”) into upscale flexible prime meeting room space. A Mandatory Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20, 2008, 2008 at 10:30 AM EST. All participants shall meet in the Room 102 A/B at the Washington Convention Center, 801 Mount Vernon Place, NW, Washington, DC 20001. There is no limitation on the number of persons from each firm that may attend the conference.       WCCA seeks a Contractor with extensive multimedia expertise to upgrade and develop a complete information portal interactive website for the Center. The project objective is to take the current website (www.dcconvention.com) to the next phase of development, or replace it in its entirety if necessary. This shall include increasing the visual impact of the site, creating reasons for visitors to return to the site, and adding interactivity to the site.

Description:

      The Washington Convention Center Authority (WCCA) wishes to engage the services of a contractor, either a single firm or joint venture (the “Contractor”) to manage, maintain, and market sponsorships and advertising on a Video Display Network (VDN or "Network") with a required 35% set-aside to an LSDBE vendor (Section M.5.1.1) WCCA wishes to engage the Contractor as a Service Partner. The Contractor shall make a capital investment in equipment and provides all necessary labor to sell products or services to WCCA guests and clients, and shall enter into a revenue-sharing agreement with WCCA. A Mandatory Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 10:00 AM EST. Proposals must be submitted no later than Wednesday, April 17, 2008 by 3:00 PM, EST.
