Centerplate/NBSE offers a unique
blend of upscale national, regional and local cuisine available through-out
the 2.3 million square foot center through regional partnerships and renowned
chefs. Centerplate/NBSE will coordinate the appropriate retail food and
beverage services for the needs of your events and other events in the
facility.
Executive Orders
Located below street level on the L1 Concourse level of
the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Executive Orders is comprised of seven
action stations that create a permanent casual dining pavilion for Convention
Center visitors.
Under the direction of Centerplate/NBSE’s Director of Culinary Operations,
Gregg Malsbary and Restaurant Retail Chef, Domaine Carter, Executive Orders
features cuisine from around the world and around the Nation’s Capital,
including concepts from locally renowned chefs Terrell Danley (Sam & Harry’s
Group). Each action station offers approximately 7 menu items ranging in
price from $3.50 to $10.00. These action stations:
* Foggy Bottom Grill
Locally branded from Washington’s own Olde Heurich Brewing Company,
Foggy Bottom Grill offers American fare, including hamburgers, Veggie burgers,
Chicken Sandwich, fries and original recipe Olde Heurich draft root beer
and draft beer.
* Wolfgang Puck Express
Enjoy Wolfgang Puck’s famous California-style wood burning oven pizzas
and specialty soups and salads.
* Seafood Cuisine
Jumbo lump crab cakes and shrimp platters satiate any mariner’s seafood
craving.
* Subculture by Executive Chef Terrell Danley
Executive Chef Terrell Danley of Sam & Harry’s Group features a
deli-style menu of gourmet stacked sub sandwiches on fresh focaccia. Subculture
also features Santa Lucia Estate Coffee.
* Sub-Grillers
Upscale Italian cuisine – fresh pasta dishes, stuffed pastas, house-made
focaccia, paninis and salads.
* Asian Cuisine
Featuring Pad Thai, Spring rolls, and Pho soup.
* Southern Fare Cuisine
Featuring Regional southern specialties.
Executive Orders has a brilliant,
pop-art contemporary environment, with guest seating areas emulating the
nearby theme and color scheme of the action station it neighbors. Executive
Orders is conveniently located on the L1 Concourse level of the Washington
Convention Center. Reasonable prices and diversity of selection makes Executive
Orders a perfect place for show attendees and Convention goers.
The Supreme
Court
Located on Upper Level off the L Street Bridge, The Supreme Court
is a retail food court offering creative and distinctive national and local
retail concepts.

Enjoy Wolfgang Puck’s famous California-style wood burning oven pizzas
and specialty soups and salads.
* Quizno’s
Enjoy a selection of Quizno’s toasted sandwiches including Mesquite
Chicken and Turkey Ranch and a variety of snack items.

Starbucks
Located in the Grand Lobby by the 801 Mt. Vernon Place entrance,
offers coffee, cappuccino, latte and frappucchino as well as a deluxe pastry
bar for the morning hours, transitioning into afternoon “light bites.”

Hall Services
The Food Show - permanent
Each Exhibit Hall (A-E) houses one permanent food
and beverage outlet pairing the “best of the best” from nationally
branded food concepts with a blend of local and regional fare.
The Food Show – portable
Customized portable food and beverage carts
are available on occasion for use on exhibit show floors, featuring Centerplate
branded cuisine concepts, including “The Dawg House” (hot dogs), “Asia Star,” (Asian
Fare), “Original Wraps” , “Great American Deli” and “The
BBQ” .
